I use tumblr for two blogs where I need to be able to post quick, spur-of-the-moment stuff no matter where I am. tumblr is a web-based blogging platform, but you can also blog from an iPad or iPhone if you prefer. And tumblr has done a pretty good job of making it easier to blog from the apps than it would be to use a browser on a mobile device.
